Frequently Asked Questions

Rush Services: Almost anything is possible in getting your order finished in time. Call us or come in and let us solve your photographic and digital needs.

Do you still do traditional film services? Yes, Action Photo remains a full service Lab to help you with your total order requirements. On specific paper types and sizes please call to insure that we have the material that you need. We also carry Vue-all archival negative, slide, and print pages.

Do we print old odd sized negatives ? Yes we print many old B&W and color negatives. Bring them in for specific recommendations of print and scan sizes and services.

Passport Photos. We make passport photos, visa photos, and immigration photos while you wait. They are shot to US Citizenship and Immigration specifications, or bring in your specifications and we will try to accommodate those sizes.

Which payment methods can I use? All major credit cards are accepted at our Concord store location. In most cases we will accept personal and company checks through our Concord location.

How large of a painting will you be able to copy? We can copy artwork up to 4' x 8'.

Can I wait while you copy the painting? We prefer that you leave the artwork with us until the order is completed. This ensures that the reproduction can be corrected if necessary. If you want to wait while we shoot the film call ahead to arrange an appointment.You may have to bring the artwork back in if we feel we need to shoot it again.

Do you carry a variety of fresh film? Yes we stock many types of fresh film and can also order quantities to suit your projects needs. For other supplies try Parrot Photo in Napa. They have a convenient delivery service to Action Photo so you can pick the supplies up at our Concord location. Parrot Photo

Can I protect my images for display if I do not want to use glass? Yes, we offer a variety of laminating and mounting surfaces.

Can you reproduce my image onto canvas? Many artists bring in images or files for us to reproduce as Giclees on watercolor paper or canvas. If you bring in a file for us to print, please prepare it as either a tif or jpeg @ 200 dpi to the finished size. We can prepare the file for you if necessary. Images look great as Giclees!
